That means you can begin to work on all those outdoor projects you've dreamed about through the winter months. Projects such as building that deck you've been planning, regrading your yard so the water will flow away from your house, mowing down that quarter acre of brush and saplings to expand your yard, and grabbing the chain saw and chipper to clean up the mess left behind by the winter storms. If this sounds like you then give us a call. We just may have the equipment you need to get the job done.
If you live in Maine, one rite of Spring is the annual posting of roads. Most posted roads are limited to vehicle traffic that is registered under 23,000 GVW. If you are thinking about renting a piece of heavy machinery such as an excavator or track loader, be aware that we may not be able to deliver directly to your site exactly when you need it. In some cases we can obtain a temporary permit from the town's Public Service Director. Some towns allow traffic heavier than 23,000 GVW if there is a cold night that "refreezes" the ground thus allowing us to deliver early in the morning before the temperature gets above 32° F.
Check with your town's Public Services director if you have questions about posted roads in your area or for more information visit maine.gov/mdot/postedroads/
