We are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, self-motivated and self-driven road sales individual preferably based out of the greater Ellsworth, Maine area to join our dynamic team.

Job Description: As an Equipment Road Sales Associate, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of Sany construction equipment throughout northern Maine and downeast Maine as well as promoting our Kubota line of products throughout Knox, Waldo, Hancock, and Washington counties. Your role will involve building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored equipment solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for construction and forestry machinery and a strong talent for sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and field visits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Understand client needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in construction equipment or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of construction equipment and machinery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and offer suitable solutions.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel throughout downeast and northern Maine.

Some of your primary job responsibilities will include;

  • Looking up Kubota and Sany parts
  • Fulfilling customer orders and repair orders
  • Preparing and packaging outgoing customer orders for shipping
  • Answering calls and helping customers over the counter
  • Assisting with keeping showroom shelves and displays stocked, faced and clean
  • Assisting with handling eBay and ecommerce orders

You must be able to work long periods on your feet, be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders, bend, kneel, reach overhead and lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

  • Presence at shop counter
    • Wait on customers at counter.
    • Create repair orders for all equipment left for repair.
    • Tag and organize all equipment in shop for repair.
    • Answer incoming phone calls in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain work schedule
    • Assign work to shop personnel in accordance with schedule.
    • Monitor ongoing jobs and contact customers as needed for authorization or follow up.
    • Interact with parts department to insure ordering of necessary items.
    • Monitor incoming parts and schedule to finish open jobs.
    • Create and maintain schedule for field service.
  • Clerical
    • Maintain customer work order files in orderly manner.
    • Provide data entry of parts and labor charges on open repair orders.
    • Maintain necessary documentation for pre-delivery inspection information for new equipment during set-up.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to operate the department profitably within dealership guidelines.
  • Professional personal appearance.

CONTINUING EDUCATION:

  • Participate in company sponsored continuing education to further your knowledge of the industry.

We have an immediate opening for a utility yardman.

Responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, staging equipment for the service department, organizing the equipment displays outside the building, loading and unloading delivery trucks, and maintaining the property. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with equipment setup and preparation for delivery, loading tires with liquid ballast, and some light mechanical work.

We are searching for a self-motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma and clean driving record are required.

This will be a full time position with a full benefit package including:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Working conditions will be indoor and outdoor in all weather conditions
